Westmeath Libraries Hi, my name is Dearbhla, and I am here today to talk about Healthy Ireland & Online resources. I work in library HQ in Westmeath, and am on the Online Resources Stock selection committee, and as part of that worked with the Healthy Ireland committee investigating online resources and stock that could be added to our services.

Some of the benefits of BorrowBox are that the titles are available whenever it suits the patrons – 24/7 People may have privacy concerns – here they don’t have to worry that someone else will see what they are picking up or browsing, other patrons or staff. There may be different titles available ebooks can be more accessible to some people as font sizes can be changed by the user. Also eAudio titles for those who prefer that format. Once a patron has their barcode that is all they need to access and search. There are a few search options, basic, advanced, by publication Basic & Advanced Search option Basic Search is the quick option Advanced lets you be more specific

Although you may not think that Language learning comes under the Healthy Ireland umbrella there are some places in which it may prove useful. Language classes Mango
