1. Decades Scrapbook 1950’s to 2000’s
Create a scrapbook depicting the major events of the last 60 years.
Each day you will have 3 events to complete. (graded daily)
They are due at the end of each class period.
Each event is worth 10pts.
If you are absent you have to make up the events you missed outside of class. If caught copying both students will receive 0’s for that event.
For each decade you have 6 ways to depict the events
1.) a poem (minimum of 8 lines) that reflects an event from the period.
2.) Original drawing by hand (colored) with a 4 sentence explanation representing an event from the period, drawing must be ½ page in size.
3.) Hand-drawn map depicting an event from the period with a key, map must be at least ½ page in size.
4.) Hand written description of the event/person 8 sentences minimum.
5.) Write a letter to someone about the event/person describing the historical significance/accomplishments/dates/effects. (8 sentence min.)
6. Make a comic strip(minimum 3 panels) describing event. Must be colored.
