7. Math, maTH, MATH!! Math is amazing - math is everywhere.
This month we will explore fun math facts from the animal world!
Can you guess how many spots a giraffe has on its body?
The answer is about 200
Math - it’s the only subject that ‘counts’!!

8. The Kindness Fairy noticed some really nice acts of kindness taking place the past few days!!
In Mrs. Holroyd’s class the Fairy saw students help clean up a mess that another student made - without even being told to.
Some students were being really caring and kind to our new students by showing them around and being with them at recess.
On a trip to Springwater Park, our Gr6 students were really respectful and represented our school in a positive way.
Way to go! Keep up the amazing acts of kindness!!

9. BAND
There will be no Intermediate band rehearsal tonight. We will resume next Tuesday at 7:45.

10. ENVIRONMENT CLUB
Today is Wasteless Wednesday. Environment Club members please meet at Ms. Holroyd’s class right at 10:40 to collect tallies for litterless lunches.

11. * Wellness Break -
Grades 5 to 8 students are welcome to come to the library for 2nd recess to have some QUIET down time.
The Wellness Break will allow you to settle into a quiet corner in the library to read a book, do some drawing or some quiet, independent activity.
No talking, chatting, doing homework, or technology allowed.

13. Dance Party Today
There will be an OPTIONAL dance party in the gym BOTH breaks today for Grade 1-4 students not wanting to go outside for TARMAC ONLY recess!
Please come down after you eat at 11:00 first break
Grades 1 and 2 first recess.
Grades 3 and 4 second recess.

14. Intermediate Girls Volleyball
Tryouts Tomorrow (Thursday) at 1:00 and Friday at 10:40.
