1 Deep Learning for Automated Contouring of Primary Tumor Volumes by MRI for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
In this multicenter evaluation, artificial intelligence (AI) assistance substantially improved contouring accuracy for five of eight radiation oncologists, with a higher Dice similarity coefficient after AI assistance, 0.74 vs 0.78;  P < .001). An AI contouring tool reduced intraobserver variation by 36%, reduced interobserver variation by 54%, and reduced contouring time by 39%.
