1. Rental Property Booking Calendar
It is becoming increasingly obvious that this is version 1.0.
The program obviously has potential but it still seems to be ridden with bugs and , things that don’t work as they are supposed to. We also find shortcomings which we would like to have included, and which is essential to our adaption to our business. This is the reason for our trying to document some of the flaws we experience when trying to implement the program. Hoping you will take notice and try to improve the program as suggested herein.
I am sure this will benefit everybody who purchases the script.

And this is how it displays May. Finally yellow colour on the booking. But it still does not display half day on the last day, despite the fact that the Night-option is selected in the Settings. That functionality seems to be working in a randomly manner. It shows correctly in some instances and not in others.

And this is what it looks like on the actual web-page on the net. In order to get the web page to display correctly one has to copy the code again and re-publish the page. It does not automatically update from the booking program. At least not everytime. Quite a variety of displays. And none of them correct. 

8. And if one from this form select the Pull Down Menu, it is possible to change the status, but it does not change to the corresponding colour. It is displayed as grey, regardless of which option is chosen.

9. The booking form is another challenge
The booking form is another challenge. We, and a lot of other companies are operating with four different seasonal rates. And normally weekly-rates, as these are rented by holiday makers. We have been informed that we ccan select «Prices can also be based on periods.» This is basically what we are looking for, but this option does not fully live up to what we expected. It has restrictions which are not very userfriendly.

Here we have defined start and end date of four seasonal rates. From top down, we have defined Low Season, Medium, High and Medium again. One problem is that we are stuck with having to choose a particular period of the week. Monday to Monday, Tuesday to Tuesday etc. We must be able to choose any one day of the week for start and end of the booking. And allow for a combination of weekly and dayly rates depending on length of stay, which may not be full weeks, but a combination of both. Rates by day only could be used if the program was smart enough to select rates by the predefined seasons. This is a major problem for us. If this can not be resolved we are unable to utilize the Invoiceing part of the program. We will then have to do manual calculations of the rentals.

11. We are grateful that you have provided us with a function for creating a database for Clients. And it works great when entering the data directly into the program. However, we miss a functionality in this form for Reservations.. See next slide:

12. In this part of the form, it would be great if one could save the input of new customersentered here, directly into the Client list instead of having to insert it into the client list before filling out this form. Additionally, it would be nice if a sort functionality was included in the pull-down menu for Client. Ref last slide.

13. We experience several cases with loger booking periods, that the calendar displays the start og the booking and then skips displaying the middle period, and displays the end of the booking. An example given here with property R-011. Booking from until

But here in May it displays the remaining part of the booking.

15. But on the regular calendar it displays correctly.
With the exception of dates in the past, which have been wiped clean.
Booking dates should be visible on the calendar from start of booking to the end. For reference.

16. Would be nice if this list was sorted alphabetically.
