It shows evolutionary relationships. Each branch point represents a common ancestor of the species above that point.

Open Response Practice…do it or…well…hypothesize as to what happens you don’t
Red, Blue, & Orange: Explain the interrelationship among genetics, natural selection (and it’s four mechanisms), and evolution. Purple & Green: In terms of natural selection, explain what would happen to a population of small fish living in a pond. Be explain all four mechanisms that we’ve discussed.
