3. 1- Alliteration Alliteration: Examples:
Repetition of initial sounds of words in a row *When two or more words in a poem begin with the same letter or sound*
Examples:
- Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
- The wild winds of winter.

Repetition of internal or ending consonant sounds of words close together in poetry.

The consonance exists here in the words “curse” and
“bless” and then in the words “fierce” and “tears”
