Each of the three epithelial components (i.e., ciliated columnar cells, mucous cells, and basal cells) exhibited cytoplasmic staining for BRAF-V600E. The monoclonal antibody also strongly cross-reacted with the cilia of the columnar cells (the internal positive control).
