Images can be described in many ways but the more most important are:
Location
Orientation
Size
Type

3. Location Images can be Closer to the mirror than they really are
Further from the mirror than they really are
The same distance from the mirror as the original object

Upright compared to the original image (think “same as”)
Inverted compared to the original image (think “upside down”)
