In English, one noun is often used to describe another noun: vegetable soup, strawberry yogurt. Notice that the noun that is being described comes second.
In Spanish, however, the noun that is being described comes first and is followed by de + the describing noun: la sopa de verduras, el yogur de fresa. Noticed that you don’t use a definite article in front of the second noun.

The form of the noun following de does not change even when the first noun becomes plural.
Example:
El sándwich de jamón
Los sándwiches de jamón

Pick 4 items from you vocabulary words (nouns) than pick 4 more to modify them and than make sentences.
Example:
La ensalada
La ensalada de huevo
