Taking Notes Online 1. Direct Quotation Box:
Type the exact information that you highlighted 2. Paraphrase Box: Write it in your own words 3. My Ideas Box: Write you own thoughts or questions about these notes 4. Create Note Card – Remember this step! 5. Save Changes - Use this button after editing notes

Taking Notes Online Title the note card – Use a phrase that describes the notes Link it to your source and cluster Use the information to the right of the note boxes for helpful hints. No “tags” needed.

After taking notes and organizing them in clusters you can: Edit Notes Edit, Add or Change Clusters Print Notes Delete any Repeat Information Remember to check for comments and make corrections as needed
