Studying Abroad Project How does studying abroad make you more marketable?
This assignment will be on First we will watch a short video on Studying Abroad. I want you to find a vide also. If you can’t copy the video, just link to the site.

2. Scenario You and your friends want to study business abroad.
You will research different countries and select one program based on criterion that you will select.
You and your friends will create a presentation (min 16 slides) for your parents to “sell” studying abroad.
You want to include animation and be creative. I used animation and motion paths to make the plane move.

3. Why do you want to study abroad? What are the advantages?
You will write a criterion of how you will chose a country and your program.
What will be your deciding factors?
How will you decide?
Create at least 8-10 criteria before you research the countries.

Each person will research a country and then you will put the information together to make one presentation.

5. Work as a Team Assign roles to your team members.
Work together to create a final product.
Record the duties of each team member.
Each person will have a role. It is important for you to record the responsibilities of each person on the team. I want to know what each person is doing.

You will research the countries and complete the World Factbook worksheet.
Use the Internet to find the answers to your criterion.
List the advantages and disadvantages of each country.
Include them into your presentation.
Make sure that your text is easy to read. Change the fonts and sizes.

7. What to include… Why did you choose this country?
Compare 3 universities’ study abroad programs. What programs do they offer?
What is the country exchange rate?
How do you get a passport?
How much will it cost to fly to the country from Las Vegas?
How does studying abroad make you more marketable?
What university is affiliated with the program? How does this information help your decision?
In your presentation, you want to answer these questions. There is a site where you can calculate the exchange rate. Use travelocity or another travel site to find out the cost to fly to the country. You can use a table slide to compare the programs. You will probably want to look up the university where the program is sponsored. Notice I changed the bullets.

8. Intermediate Features to Include

Use pictures of the country and university from the Internet
Change the bullets
Change the fonts and sizes
Table layout slides

Video
This is an intermediate project so you should have intermediate features in your presentation. Make sure that you include each of these items or points will be taken off the total.
