3 The Current Picture SIF bids have disappeared.
NLE are given a £6000 bursary each year. Matched NLE Involvement to DfE ‘identified’ schools.

4 What is the Offer in 2018/19?

5 Tier 1 Schools A primary school defined as ‘below the floor standards’ or ‘coasting’ based on KS2 revised data published in December 2018 If a school is eligible, they will be offered up to 3 days of free advice from a designated national leader of education (NLE) or equivalent. Schools will receive support once their eligibility has been confirmed by the published schools’ performance data. All funded support will be delivered by the end of the 2020 spring term.

6 Tier 2 Schools If in addition to this, a school is judged as ‘requires improvement’ by Ofsted in their 2 most recent consecutive inspections will be offered up to £16,000 of funded support to address the needs identified by the NLE

7 Teaching Schools Council
To ensure that eligible schools are provided with the best support possible. Not only will they be coordinating the assistance given, but it is their role to designate appropriate NLE’s to schools where their help is needed most. North Yorkshire is part of the ‘North’ which includes North Yorkshire, Cumbria & North East Phil Bennington is our TSC representative

8 Timeline Schools will receive support once their eligibility has been confirmed by the published schools’ performance data. All Tier 1 visits to be completed by July 2019. 50% of Tier 2 visits by May 2019. All funded support will be delivered by the end of the 2020 spring term.
