5 Demographic questions (describe the population you are studying) i.e. Gender Race Age Class level Income etc. 15 closed ended questions (with closed responses) Closed ended questions are statements that respondent can give a specified answer to. i.e. Obama is a good president. (closed question) (SA) (Agree) (No Opinion) (Disagree) (SD) On a scale of 1 – 10, 10 being the best, how would you rate his performance as president.

Sampling methods Random
Grab first people you see Choose every 5th person you see Stratified: population into separate groups, called strata. Then, a probability sample (often a simple random sample ) is drawn from each group. Choose groupings i.e. male/female Class level Ethnic/racial Interests (jocks vs. geeks) Cluster: the total population is divided into these groups (or clusters) and a simple random sample of the groups is selected.
