Em7 Em7 4435 “Tablature” chord indications 4 3 2 1 G C E A 1 2 3 4 5
We often suggest how to form a chord by stating its name and a series of 4 digits… Em Frets are numbered progressively from the headstock toward the body of your uke Each of the 4 digits in the series pertains to a specific string in this order: (G-C- E-A) The digit is the fret number (not finger!) in which you place a finger on that string. 0=open string. Tablature does not suggest “fingering” (what finger(s) to use), but that becomes intuitive quickly with a little experience. G C E A FRET 1 2 3 4 5
