Figure 2 Study Protocol. This shows the timing of the first CET cycles in each study group according to the timespan from the last oocyte retrieval. Adjacent cycles (A) started at the first bleeding after discontinuation of luteal support of a failed ovarian stimulation-GnRH-agonist cycle. None of the women in the adjacent group had a spontaneous menstrual cycle before initiation of endometrial preparation. In contrast, all women in the non-adjacent group (B) had ≥ 1 spontaneous menstrual cycles before endometrial preparation. CET = cryopreserved embryo transfer; GnRH = gonadotrophin-releasing hormone.
