Ran the farms and businesses while the men were fighting

The king and parliament fought to determine the role each other played in the government.

4. Interaction between humans and environment
While the war was going on, people would go to rich estates and steal resources.
Agriculture was not in high demand because there was only a slow population growth in England

5. Cultural
For the upper class and the middle class life grew more comfortable but for the poor life changed little
Merchant status improved but political power was still in the hands of the wealthy
Between 1485 and 1660 cultural life began to take modern shape

6. Economic Trade was an increasingly important part of the economy
People saw that trade was becoming an important part of the economy so merchants status improved in society
