3 20 Jan CTF meeting 15 European associations (France, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom) a large delegation from France as the workshop took place in their capital representatives of ENPODHE, the European network in Higher education in Podiatry Representative from the EC (Olivier Coppens) & CEPLIS (Simone Zeirah) Total: 46 participants

Mr. Olivier Coppens, Representative from the European Commission in France Mme Simonne Zeirah, European Specialist in Laboratory Medicine and Vice-President of CEPLIS. Discussion between the members Conclusion The representatives of the FIP-IFP member associations have unanimously agreed in their personal name to mandate the ECP Board to make further steps into the elaboration of a common training framework for podiatry in the EU, based on following principles: All the institutions/professional associations/governments need to be involved in the process The discussion on the establishment of a Common Training Framework can pursue the highest level , with the understanding that no countries may be left out of the process The patients’ needs are central in the establishment of a CTF gave the kick off of the workshop by giving an overview of the functioning of the European Union from a regulatory point of view As Specialists in Laboratory Medicine, they have prepared a CTF: agreed by the professionals of the 28 EU Countries. And they began to discuss their propositions: at national level and with the European Commission. The European Council of the Liberal Professions (CEPLIS) is the only inter-professional association bringing together the liberal professionals of the European Union. The ECP is a member of CEPLIS.
