A language is a system of symbols, generally known as lexemes and the grammars (rules) by which they are manipulated. The word language is also used to refer to the whole phenomenon of language, i.e., the common properties of languages. Language is commonly used for communication, though it has other uses.

9 How are communication and Language the same/ different
Can talk to people through communication or language Read Comm and lang both have to do with speaking Different Language needs grammar, communication doesn’t Language in alphabets and words Comm-simple words Language uses more difficult words and symbols

10 How old is Language According to an evolutionary biologist, the human mouth attained it’s modern form between about 80 and 50 thousand years ago, and this allowed our ancestors to make the full range of sounds used in languages. These dates also fit with some estimates of when first language emerged.

11 How language changes. .First of all, you have to know that all the languages in this world originated in a single language. That is what linguists all over the world consider. Two very similar languages are related. The first stage is when the mother- language develops so much that it is spoken by many people in a large area. Then the words change their basic meanings and their form and this change does not depend by the people speaking the language. This change takes a long time, hundreds of years may be...A language is like a human being , it develops, grows and dies when it is not useful.
