Dacron vascular grafts retrieved 5 weeks postoperatively from carotid arteries of dog treated with U-63557A (10 mg/kg/day). Note pannus ingrowth of endothelium across anastomoses of nonseeded graft. Endothelial cell—seeded graft lumen was 100% covered by endothelial cells and 100% thrombus-free.
