1. Feedback Session Our aim:
To collect evidence on what effective feedback is, what it looks like across the school and how we can get students working with feedback to make maximum progress in all subjects, while also transferring their skills in responding to feedback across subjects
Furthermore, how we can get students to recognise that they can transfer skills from one subject to another; especially in terms of feedback
Today we will:
Assess what we understand feedback to be
gather information from each other about the way we use feedback in our subject areas
Discuss whether these feedback areas cross over
Generate ideas about how we will gather evidence of feedback
Establish how we can evaluate what works/doesn’t work in our subjects
