Portfolio Tips Display your best work
Include all work – school, work experience, and other Graduate architect level – typically conceptual and graphic skills Variety of work – show range of skill and ability Two to three pages per project (on average include 6 to 8 projects) Use high quality photo reproductions of work – do not include originals Limit text – images should speak alone, especially when they are viewed in your absence Label projects/ images with title, date and brief description Keep work chronological Layout – treat as a design project that is thoughtful and intentional Set yourself apart – think competitively In the details….. Avoid lengthy and small text All text should be computer generated Spell Check!!!

The Interview First Impressions are everything! WHO
Project manager, Principal/Owner Research the firm/ company WHAT to do Project process – tell the story Dress professionally (even if the work environment is casual) Prepare questions for the interviewer WHERE Don’t be late! Know where you are going and show up minutes early Rehearse - Practice with friends, family or professors Be confident and enthusiastic
