Lakeview and Grace leaders discuss possible merger
July 2018 – Merger talks conclude. Lakeview leaders begin studying biblical church government and discussion on rewriting constitution.

August 2018 – Executive Board informed of and discussed constitution revision.
September 2018 – Rewriting began
November 2018 – The membership was informed of rewrite.
March 2019 – Rewrite completed and approved by the deacons, elder and pastors.

4. Changes
The changes were made to bring the by-laws into alignment with the statement of faith. Mainly the conflicts arose between what are offices of the church, their definition and the authority of that office.
