Welcome to Third Grade!
Please know there is an expectation that all leaders should be reading at least 20 minutes a night. This is the easiest thing you can do to ensure your child’s growth as a reader this year!
Transportation Changes must be a written note and the office needs to be contacted about any changes. Leaders will go home the way listed unless there is a written note stating otherwise.
What we are Learning:
ELA
Visualizing to make sense of texts
Retell stories including fables , folktales, and fables.
Explain how a character’s traits affect the sequence of events in the story.
Getting ideas from read alouds and writing drafts in a variety of genres
Math
Fluently adding and subtracting within 1,000 (Test on Wednesday)
Understanding properties of multiplication
Social Studies
