9 Reversibility Any adaptions that result from training will be reversed when you stop training.

10 Rest and Recovery Rest – the time allotted to recovery after training Recovery – The time required to repair damage to the body caused by training or competition The human body is very clever. It reacts to a hard training session by increasing its ability to cope with future punishing training sessions. This is called adaption and adaption takes place at rest.
