5 The Stench of Dead Men We were once Lazarus Ephesians 2:1-6 Colossians 2:11-13 We may be afraid of “opening the tomb” The “stench” of sin Ecclesiastes 10:1 Ec 10:1 Dead flies make a perfumer's oil stink, so a little foolishness is weightier than wisdom and honor.

10 Acts 16:30-33 After (the Philippian Jailer) brought (Paul & Silas) out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house. And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household.

You must believe on Jesus Christ You must confess that belief (Romans 10:9) You must repent of your sins (Acts 2:38) Your must be baptized IMMEDIATELY You must remain faithful (Revelation 2:10)
