2. What to do?
One student/member will use coins to pay for his/her order and will drop the coins in the floor as if its accidental.
One student will accidentally drop his/her books upon entering the door of the food establishment.
The rest of the group members will observe the facial reactions of people, count the number of people who will help the student, and observe

3. Mechanics
The members of the group who will be observing will have to go to the assigned fast food/restaurants ahead of the two actors.
Members who are observing should make sure that they are seated near the counter or near the door.
Make sure that the actors are visible and you can easily see them performing.

4. Mechanics Make sure you write down your observation.
One observer should take photos using mobile phone and make sure its not obvious.
Order: student who will be paying using the coins will do the acting first followed by the student who will be bringing books.
Make sure that there is a thirty minute interval for the two acts.

5. Mechanics
After the conduct of the experiment, you may eat as a group and share your experiments and plan how to go about your report.

7. Submission of Report
Provide a description of your field research area, i.e., fast-food chain you were assigned.
Explain your method (how did you conduct your observation, what did you observe, how did you observe)
Present your observations.
What can you conclude based on your observations about relationships(?), altruism, etc.?
What did you learn from the exercise?
