3. Functions as Graphs
Graphs can be used as a representation of a function.
Given a table for a function, each corresponding pair of input and output values forms an ordered pair of numbers that can be plotted as a point.

4. Input and Output The input is the x-coordinate.
The horizontal axis of the graph is labeled with the input variable.
The output is the y-coordinate.
The vertical axis of the graph is labeled with the output variable.
