Additive Primary Colors

Light Transmission Light can be transmitted, absorbed, or reflected
Transparent: the light is transmitted easily; the image is clear; no scattering Translucent: the light is transmitted but with no detail; image is unclear or “fuzzy”; light is scattered Opaque: does not transmit light (either reflected or absorbed)

Light Transmission On TRANSPARENT OBJECTS, the color of the object is the color of the light it transmits On OPAQUE objects, the color is the color it reflects

Subtractive Primary Colors
The three primary pigment colors are Yellow Blue Red When equal amounts of the three colors are mixed, you get form black!

The reflected light is what is not ABSORBED by the material we are looking at
