1886 Surplus Canal completed, empties onto Cohn's claim, creates "Cohn's slough" on north half.
1890 Cohn shares ownership of property with Frederick and Samuel Auerbach.
1896 House and barn first reported in property tax records (Cohn resides in city).
1898 First mention of property being leased (to Chinese tenants).
1899 Samuel Auerbach becomes sole owner of property.
