Learning Mobility HE) Streamline/rationalise data requests 8 November 2012 Eurostat Working Group Education and Training Statistics - Luxembourg

Guiding principles for the revised Regulation
Focus on EU needs Additional data needed by OECD will not be included Additional data needed at national level may be collected in addition, at national level Prioritise / Rationalize needs New data requirements to be balanced by removal of other existing requirements 8 November 2012 Eurostat Working Group Education and Training Statistics - Luxembourg

Revised Regulation to be applicable from 2014 This was agreed by ETS WG in May 2011 & endorsed by DSS in September 2011 Education statistics = joint data collection with OECD & UNESCO, therefore consultation Education: High on the EU policy agenda, therefore intensive DG EAC consultation 8 November 2012 Eurostat Working Group Education and Training Statistics - Luxembourg

Discussion with Member States: - Through ISCED Workshop in 2011, WG ETS in 2011 & 2012 (June), OECD meetings First draft: 20 July 2012 DSS consultation on 21 September 2012 Second draft: 5 October (+31 October) Third draft: outcome of the 8 November 2012 meeting Next steps: DSS; ESSC in 2013 8 November 2012 Eurostat Working Group Education and Training Statistics - Luxembourg
