It is an opportunity for you to:
Be a leader and role model for school pride
Help plan school events like canned food drives or a campus clean-up day
Participate in Hawk News Network

3. What are the positions available?
Grades 6, 7 & 8
Historian
Student Council Office Positions
Reporter
Committee Chairperson
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Parliamentarian
Committee Chair Person

4. What do you need to do when you join student council?
Attend a meeting once a week
Help organize and run events sometimes before, during, or after school
Make announcements
Make posters, participate

5. How do I get elected to Student Council?
Complete your application by November 30th
Create posters to campaign
Make a positive poster about yourself and what position you want

6. What you need to do NOW?
See Mrs. Janice November 28th for Candidate Application and choose the position you want to run for.
Have everything turned in to Mrs. Janice by Friday, November 30th, no later than 4:30 p.m.
