FACTORS THAT AFFECT CLIMATE LATITUDE – how far away from
the equator a place is located. The closer a place is to the equator the warmer it is. 2. ALTITUDE – the height above sea level. The higher up – the cooler it is. 3. OCEAN CURRENTS – warm currents heat the air above & cold currents cool the air above.
