6. Open ArcMap and select Conversion Tools/ From kml/ kml2shp

9. LYR data format and GDB data format
“lyr” represents layer, which can collect all symbology and feature information at the same time.
“gdb” represents as geodatabase file, which can contents lots of dataset together at the same time.
If you import CAD data into ArcMap, then you will see this data format.
