We provide data on site reducing this occurrence Also from data collected there is evidence of equipment breakdown because of not referring to manuals Working fast and efficiently reduces downtime hence more availability, however so many other factors affect availability 2 3 1 Reduce time taken to carry out maintenance activities by at least 1 hour for 8 hour jobs Attain actual life expectancy of spare parts as recommended by the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Achieve and maintain plant availability of over 80%
