6 Step 4 – Know your equipment needs
Your team will require some equipment to play in the NCISL Dawn can help you identify what you need and where you can purchase it

7 Step 5 – Get others to help
Organizing a team is a lot of work You may have a heart of gold when it comes to volunteering but you will enjoy it more if you delegate some of the work 3 or 4 people is ideal Work as a committee and share out the tasks

8 Step 6 – Generate a team budget
Once you know your NCISL and equipment fees you should set a team budget. Make sure that your budget covers the complete costs of entering a team so you are not out of pocket yourself At the end of your budget you should have a fee that each player needs to pay to join your team

9 Step 7 – Consider a sponsor
Consider getting a sponsor to help pay some of your costs Maybe your employee would like to support you Alternatively many bars will support soccer teams if they attend the establishment after a game

10 Step 8 – Start recruiting
Once your know your division and your costs its time to recruit players. If you are short a few players contact Dawn. She may be able to partner you with another group who are also short of players

11 Step 9 – Choose and order your uniforms
Uniforms can take up to a month to be delivered so select your uniforms in good time The NCISL has a uniform supplier. Speak with Dawn to obtain details

12 Step 10 – Attend the pre season meeting
The NCISL will call a mandatory pre season meeting for all team representatives The meeting will explain how the NCISL will operate for the upcoming season At the meeting you will need to pay your balance to the NCISL

13 Step 11 – EODSA cards All players in the NCISL will need to obtain an EODSA ID card Each player can do this online Dawn will explain the process to you It can take up to 7 days to obtain a card so ask your players not to leave it until the last minute

14 Step 12 – Play an exhibition game
This is not mandatory but we recommend that new teams play an exhibition game before the season starts The exhibition game will give your team the chance to get to know each other before the first league game The NCISL will organize the game for you if you would like one
