2. Who We Are
The Club has options to sail recreationally or competitively, and does not require any prior sailing experience to join the club.

We have a great relationship with the State Park and CLSA

3. Recreational Sailing
Start sailing again soon before/after spring break depending on weather
Sail recreationally every week at Claytor Lake
Usually on Sundays, but doesn’t have to be
Anyone can use the listserv to set up a lake day whenever
Minimum of 4 people, two of which must be approved skippers

4. Meeting Location for Lake Days
We have a new meeting spot for traveling to the lake; the corner by the entrance of the Lane Stadium Lot.

5. Competitive Sailing We compete in the MAISA sailing conference
Travel to 4-5 regattas per semester
They are a great time and everyone should go to at least one before they graduate, but we do require sailing experience

7. Dues $135 for the year $80 for Spring semester Where do dues go?
Food/drinks for lake days and social events
Regatta Reimbursement
MAISA Dues
Site upgrades (e.g. new boats and equipment)
State Park Parking Passes

8. How to Join the Club
Dues are $135 for the year, $80 just for spring semester
Can be paid at any time, but must be paid in order to participate in club activities
Liability form
Must sign liability form before participating in sailing events
Social contract
Must sign contract in order to participate in any events
1 Work day per semester
De-winterizing, site renovations, etc.
Attendance to 3 meetings per semester
Bi- weekly meetings each semester on Wednesdays at 7 pm
If you cannot make that time let us know
