Victims of crime tell us that this year we have improved in all five areas surveyed Particular improvement has been for satisfaction in the follow-up provided (78.6% satisfied, 8.2% points better than the same period 2012) At 84.4% overall satisfaction is 5.6% points better than the same period 2012

April-September 2013: Number of Domestic Abuse Incidents: reported to the police Number of Domestic Abuse Repeat Incidents: 7507 reported to the police Percentage of Domestic Abuse Repeat Incidents: 49.8% of incidents have a victim who has reported domestic abuse to Essex Police in the last 12 months

Domestic Abuse Solved Rates (April-September 2013) - At 42.9% the Force is 1.0% point better April to September 2013 compared to the same period 2012.
