What we are learning
Notes/Reminders:
Language: For literacy this week, we will be exploring Christmas Around the World. How do other countries around the world celebrate Christmas? What are some of their unique traditions? We will also be preparing our hearts for Christmas in writing, following a few Advent writing prompts on faith, hope, joy, and love.
Math: We will do some STEM math challenges with a Christmas theme in mind.
Arts: -We will be working on winter themed art Some Christmas caroling will also be happening on Monday, Wednesday and Friday!
What a fantastic turn out for our Christmas Performance! I am extremely proud of our fifth graders on their performance. I hope you enjoyed it thoroughly and that we always remember to keep Christ in Christmas!
Our 5Y Christmas party will be held on the last day of school, December 21st. Please let me know what kind of food you are planning to bring to share with everyone!
Friday December 21st is also a school-wide ugly Christmas sweater day.
