Use the safety equipment. Wear goggles and an apron during experiments.
Tie back loose hair and clothing when working in the lab.

Flush any burns with cold water- immediately.
Tell the teacher about any spills, accidents or injuries right away.
Return all items to their proper places and turn all devices off.
Do not wash any substances down the sink unless directed to do so.
