Introduction PURPOSE – Provide a flexible program to develop and continuously enhance current leadership skills. While also addressing leadership competency needs. Initial Program Entry Graduate from the ELDP Level 3 New Supervisor Certification Program Completion of Supervisory Probationary Requirement prior to coming to DLA as a Supervisor Those who held a Supervisory position with DLA prior to New Supervisor Certification Program inception (2004) are into ELDP Level 4

Program Requirements All Supervisors
Completion of Record of Annual Leadership Development Activities 20 hours annually 14 options - very flexible Plan during IDP open season Completion of the 16 hour DLA Supervisor Applied HRM Refresher Training Required every 3 years – $ Initial attendance based on completion of 5-day Applied HRM course from ELDP Level 3 (+ 3 years). If Level 3 not required or supervisory probation completed outside of DLA, attendance should be as early as possible.

Program Requirements New Managers
For New Managers, (New Manager is someone who Supervises Supervisors) appointed to a managerial position since October 1, 2010, or those within 2 years of their initial appointment to a managerial position: A 16-hour Transition to Manager instructor-led course - $ Four hours of executive coaching (offered only to new managers) - $

Program Information For “Interested Supervisors” - A 16-hour Transition to Manager instructor-led course. DLA may designate annual development requirements and priorities based on organization needs (e.g., mentoring, coaching, managing performance). Individuals have flexibility through their IDP to focus their leader development based on their individual needs and career goals
