Figure 1 Indirect immunohistochemical analysis of the vitiligo lesional and perilesional skin infiltration with antigen-presenting cells. Langerin-, CD11c-, CXCL12-, and CD68-positive cells were detected on 4-μm sections of paraffin-embedded skin samples collected from lesional and perilesional vitiligo skin. Immunostaining was done using antigen-specific primary antibodies (Abcam, Cambridge, MA: CD11c-ab52632, Langerin-ab192027, CD86-ab53004; R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN: CXCL12-MAB350). Immunocomplexes were detected with HRP/DAB Detection IHC kit (Abcam, ab80436). Brown staining-detected antigens (shown to the right of the representative micrographs) on samples from vitiligo lesional and perilesional skin (as indicated on top of the panels). Scale bar = 100 μm. Journal of Investigative Dermatology , DOI: ( /j.jid ) Copyright © 2017 The Author Terms and Conditions
