The DO/MS Committee is a standing committee of NACD and is responsible for providing guidance, input, direction, and performance to accomplish DO/MS goals.

Solicit training tools from states to share on the NACD website
Checklist is to be changed to online form
Deadline for checklist applications, Dec. 1st.

The checklist applications will be converted into an online form. Additional questions will be added asking for additional information about their state training program and asking for copies of their training materials.
The checklist applications are due to Phylis Vandevere by December 1, of each year. Contact Phylis for the checklist application and more information.
Each recognized state will be recognized each year and they do not have to provide a new checklist to Phylis each year. Only new states that wish to be recognized.

3. Started in 2013 as a monthly one-page , developed primarily by DO/MS Committee to provide training for District Officials.
“Did You Know?” is a feature in the eResource once a month.

4. Friends of NACD
Friends of NACD are individuals who are committed to the conservation of America’s natural resources. Show your appreciation for our nation’s 3,000 conservation districts by becoming a Friend today! The DO/MS Committee has been reviewing this program regarding the use of funds and other aspects.

5. Hall of Distinction
NACD created the Hall of Distinction to recognize and honor the organization's current and past leaders. District officials - past and present - featured in NACD's Hall of Distinction have made major contributions to our nation's Conservation Movement.
