Service Interface Display Basic Features and Navigation This presentation will review the basic features of the Service Interface, Navigation and Menu Access. The slides are self advancing and require no input from the viewer. (The slides are narrated and self advancing, requiring no input from the viewer.)

Dispense locked Reg. Ready Dec. Ready Temp = 196°F LOCK/UNLOCK To lock out the dispense functions, press the button labeled LOCK/UNLOCK. Dispense will be disabled and can then be secured from access by locking the front door. This feature does not disable power to the heaters. The button labeled NIGHTSWITCH performs that function as described in the next slide.

Drink Mix Ratio Temp Set Counters Setting To navigate through the menu selections, use the yellow arrow buttons to move the cursor up (+) or down (-) one selection at a time. As seen here, each press of the minus button, moves the cursor down through the menu.

Drink Mix Ratio Temp Set Counters Setting Continuing, to navigate to a selection above the current cursor position, press the cursor up (+) button. Each press moves the cursor to the position directly above.

Enter code Ø Ø Ø Ø Drink Mix Ratio Temp Set Counters Setting To select a menu option simply move the cursor to the desired selection and press ENTER. In this case, the selection is Drink Mix Ratio. Note that prior to menu access, a code is required to gain entry.

Drink Mix Ratio Temp Set Counters Setting Enter code 1 Ø Ø Ø Next, press ENTER to submit the access code. After the cursor moves to the original position, press the BACK (left arrow) button to return to the menu.

Regular Ratio 25:1 Decaff Ratio 19:1 Drink Mix Ratio Temp Set Counters Setting This presentation briefly described the basic features of the service interface and how to navigate through the menus. Lessons following this will describe the options available through the program menus and how they are changed. This presentation will always be available for review through the FlexTraining system. An option to return to the beginning of this presentation will be available following this slide. Otherwise, click on the large arrow on the left side of the screen to return to the course menu. Now with the cursor on a programming selection, when ENTER is pressed the screen corresponding to that parameter will be displayed for editing. In this case, the Dispense Mix Ratio screen will be displayed and is ready to be set to the desired ratio.
