6 Process for Refining Draft
November 2006 Process for Refining Draft Call for informal comments was issued with a deadline of 1 May 2006. The Draft is primarily being improved through resolution of these comments. See 11-06/602r17. Note that since these are informal comments, we are not required to resolve them all before going to Letter Ballot and they are not carried forward to the Letter Ballot. However, commenters will be free to re-enter them. Donald Eastlake 3rd, Motorola

7 Process for Developing Submissions and Comment Resolutions
November 2006 Process for Developing Submissions and Comment Resolutions You can not have a half way official body in While it is hard to cover all contingencies in a concise statement, there are generally two choices: TGs can have regular sessions at meetings and can have ad hoc meetings and teleconferences in accordance with the rules with the required prior notice to all members and minutes published afterwards. It can also break into subgroups during such official meetings, the notice and minutes requirements generally being met by the notice and minutes of the TGs meeting. One or more individual members can develop submissions. In this case, TGs can not, in general direct how they meet or communicate. In light of this, the motion passed by TGs at its final session in Melbourne, purporting to direct several named individuals to post notice of certain informal meetings or teleconferences to the TGs mailing list is in violation of rules and is invalid.
