2 Vision & Mission Statements
To promote McKean County as a viable option for employment, commerce, and housing to ensure expansion and growth for future generations. MISSION To connect individuals and businesses by providing access to information and resources to create growth and expansion in McKean County.

3 Project Proposal The Grow McKean project is designed to promote McKean County, Pennsylvania as a viable resource for the creation or expansion of labor, industry and economic growth. The project leverages the use of an easily accessible website to provide a one stop shop for the following customers. Individuals looking for work and business looking for employees Individuals/Businesses looking to buy or sell personal real estate Individuals/Businesses looking to buy or sell commercial real estate Individuals/Business looking to invest in the community Having a central location to concatenate data will help to better advertise McKean county to potential customers.

A comprehensive listing of public events across McKean County A moderated web form for submitting events Trumba - Web calendar platform Archive of event photos, attendance, etc. A community’s identity is defined by the shared experiences of its citizens Grow McKean’s calendar will ensure an accessible resource for an event’s success.

7 Community Enrichment Education
Pitt-Bradford Continuing Education Clarion University Small Business Development Center Northern PA Regional College A learning community is a growing community because citizens are eager to apply their new abilities. Grow McKean is promoting opportunities for our population to learn new skills such as painting, computer software or even business planning.

8 Community Enrichment Investment
McKean County Community Foundation Blaisdell Foundation United Way of Bradford Area, Inc “With many worthy causes in need of help, it can be difficult for a potential donor to decide where to start.” -Bradford Era Grow McKean will share information on investments and charities so potential donors can access information easily

9 Community Enrichment Things to do
Museums Allegany National Forest Restaurants and Small Businesses This could be an opportunity for advertising revenue McKean County has something for everyone. Grow McKean can increase awareness of things to do and events in the area.

Pennsylvania as a whole is at or below the national average McKean County has recently been trending above the PA and US rates

11 Higher Rates of Unemployment Among Youth
Youth unemployment has been correlated to prime age unemployment Early-career joblessness contributes to the inequality of unemployment experience over the professional career
