Fig 1 Freedom from stroke/death in asymptomatic patients for redo-carotid angioplasty and stenting (CAS) vs carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in patients with prior ipsilateral CAS. This figure shows that in asymptomatic patients with prior CAS who develop restenosis, post reintervention stroke-free survival is not statistically different between redo-CAS and CEA.
