3. “Whoever wants to be my disciple”

4. A disciple is a fully devoted follower of Jesus who reflects the mind, character, and priorities of Jesus!

5. “We are called to Advance Together through partnerships among our churches, we are sent by God to bring the Gospel to the nations, we are empowered by God to raise up ALL believers to be trained and equipped as ministers of the Gospel. And, as we do this, we’re to remember our DNA: We are Spirit-filled, renewal seeking, Bible teaching, healing believing, gospel proclaiming, risk takers who learned from our founder that people who advance the Kingdom are presence dwellers who say ‘yes’ to Jesus with uncompromised obedience – even if they’re called to walk a way they’ve never been before.” ~ Kelvin Walker

6. “must deny themselves”

7. “Denying yourself” means putting aside selfish desires because you’re a new person in Christ!

8. “take up their cross daily”

9. “Taking up your cross” means carrying some commitment because you are a Christ follower!

12. “follow me”

13. “Following Jesus” means taking the same path he took – humility, sacrifice, service.

14. As you deny yourself and take up your cross for Christ, you’ll enjoy following Christ!
