Draw a timeline from 1875 to 1914. Add when different British PMs were in office. Annotate what their attitude was like towards British colonisation. Annotate anything else you know about British attitudes towards colonisation – e.g. Chamberlain as Secretary of State for the Colonies shows that British political attitudes towards colonisation were fairly positive.
