so far 2 rounds of collecting data for the compliance monitoring tool SMIS September 2005 June 2006 – very useful in preparation of the Screening documentation Improved insight into compliance level

4 Technical aspect Database in MS Access
Difficulties with installation Technically lagging – has to be renewed Impossible to share the database slows down the process presents challenge – easy to make mistakes

5 Logical aspect Statistical Requirements Compendium
Excellent example of well organised subject Useful tool for everyday work Regular updating – disseminated within Croatian Statistical System Too many unnecessary functions Provokes confusion with unskilled staff Need for reduction in a new version

6 Statisticians aspect Self-evaluation necessary - requires occasional retrospective of the work done Opens unsolved issues Discloses existing shortcomings and gaps Information on data sets is necessary Add definitions from the relevant acquis?
